So, it seems that while ADC2 is not over exactly, it’s the end for PackRat. Here’s what I got in the mail a short while ago:

This will only affect people judging PackRat for the currently running Android Developer Challenge. I’ve just discovered that the version I submitted to the challenge breaks if you’re running Android 1.6. I developed and tested on 1.5, where everything worked just fine there.

You can now download the ADC2 judging app, and therefore try out and judge PackRat!
You can download the app here, or just scan the barcode below and follow the link.
Once you installed that, it’ll notify you when PackRat becomes ready for review.

Just a short note today. I came across this summary of ADC2 submissions, gleaned from a thread on the Android developer list. There’s some really good stuff in there! But don’t take my word for it, see for yourself.
